Color-change questions
Does a PPF color change harm the original paint?
Quite the opposite — the film is a TPU protection layer that shields the original paint from scratches, stone chips and sun, and it removes whenever you wish without a trace, restoring the original color — which raises the resale value.
How long does a color change take?
Two to three business days for a full car at JU Riyadh Center, delivered after a final quality inspection with an electronic warranty certificate.
What is the difference between gloss, satin, metallic and color-shift?
Gloss has a mirror-like shine like factory paint, satin is a smooth matte with no reflections, metallic adds flakes that sparkle in the sun, color-shift changes hue with the viewing angle, and carbon has a 3D weave. You can see the effect of each finish on the car in the preview at the top of the page.
Do the on-screen colors match reality?
Screen colors are approximate; real samples of every color are available at JU Riyadh Center so you can see them in daylight before deciding.
What is the warranty?
An electronic warranty issued in the United States and tied to the roll number: 10 years for black and 7 years for the other colors, from the installation date — covering cracking, peeling and color fading.
