What do TSER and VLT mean?
TSER is the total solar energy the film rejects — visible light, infrared and ultraviolet together — and it is the figure closest to the heat you feel inside the car. VLT is the share of visible light that passes through the glass: the lower it is, the darker the glass and the more privacy you get. JU Premium's published figures are maximums ("up to") and vary by shade.
Available shades
Five light-transmission shades: 70%, 50%, 35%, 20% and 5%. Lighter shades keep visibility clear, darker shades add privacy, and you choose the shade with the center team at check-in.
Tint and paint protection
Tint deals with cabin heat and the rays coming through the glass; the paint itself is protected with PPF. The JU Signature Series package combines both with a dash cam and interior nano coating.
